CJHRC will provide information about The Fair Housing Act, which includes all aspects of housing including sales, advertising, financing, rental, insurance, and more.

Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) is a non-profit, HUD-certified information center and housing counseling agency serving the community with free programs and services for rental, pre-purchase, financial literacy, post-purchase, and foreclosure counseling. (CJHRC) partners with very low-, low-, and moderate-income households in Central New Jersey to build the knowledge, skills, and access necessary to achieve sustainable housing stability and long-term financial security.

Topics will include: protected classes, income protections, Reasonable Accommodations, what is not protected or included in the Fair Housing Act, filing a complaint, assistance and comfort animals, landlords, section 8, background checks and more.
