SCLSNJ continues to be a strong community resource for the residents of Somerset County - through the pandemic, historic rainfall, freezing snow, and the advent of new technologies. In 2021, over 2.8 million total items were circulated throughout the 12 location Library System, over 80,000 new items were added to the ever-growing collection, and customers visited over 590,000 times. Curious about our favorites?  The number one most popular resource was the Library System’s borrowable WiFi hotspot devices. The System has 200 devices that are able to provide Internet on the Go for three weeks and power up to 15 internet-capable devices. Authors Dav Pilkey, Raina Telgemeier, and Jeff Kinney battled to be the most loved author - with Pilkey winning by a hair.
