Join local author and DanceXStudio Artistic Director Jayshree Srikanth for a special reading of Meera’s Magical Night at Bungalow. Follow Meera as she embarks on a magical adventure across India, discovering its diverse foods, traditions, and dances. The program will include an interactive book reading, cultural storytelling, and a fun hands-on dance experience.

Children will learn folk dances from various states of India in an engaging and interactive session, complete with authentic dance props. The event will conclude with a Q&A and book signing opportunity.

Meera’s Magical Night at Bungalow: A Journey Through India, foreword written by Chef Vikas Khanna: Chef Vikas Khanna is a Michelin-starred chef, bestselling author, filmmaker, humanitarian, and one of the world’s most celebrated ambassadors of Indian cuisine. Born in Amritsar, India, he has earned international acclaim for his innovative culinary work, television appearances, and dedication to showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India. He is the founder of the acclaimed restaurant Bungalow in New York City and has authored numerous award-winning books on food, culture, and history. Beyond the culinary world, Vikas is recognized for his philanthropic efforts and his commitment to using food as a bridge between cultures. His work continues to inspire millions around the globe through storytelling, creativity, and a deep passion for preserving and celebrating Indian traditions.
