Teen Volunteer Opportunity

Program Helper: Spring Carnival

Teens
Volunteering

Provide support for a grades K-8 program. Tasks could include: checking-in patrons, hosting a game or prize table, locating/refreshing supplies, clean-up, resetting tables/chairs.

Friday, May 29 | 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Montgomery branch

Volunteer Qualities: Outgoing personality and good communicator & listener. Experience and/or comfortability working with children and their families. Able to move furniture and other heavy objects. Take direction from staff and work independently or with a team to complete a task.

Special Notes: This event will be held after the library closes. Your parent/caregiver must be available to pick you up immediately after volunteering ends at 7:30 pm.

As the parent or legal guardian, I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child/dependent to participate in this program

I understand and freely and knowingly assume the potential risks involved with my child/dependent’s participation in this program.

In addition to giving my full consent for my child’s participation, I do hereby waive, release and hold harmless the Somerset County Library System, its officers, sponsors, supervisors and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in this program and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
