Local artist Jennifer Troulis will be exhibiting her colorful collection of work, in a collection titled Modern Pointillism, at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) Warren Township branch through January 31, 2024.
"I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t creating," said Troulis. "I’ve always had a big imagination."
Troulis is both a watercolor artist and also a clay sculpturist. In 2020, she began creating her vivid, nature-themed pointillism art works. Her pointillism art is created using both acrylic as well as oil paints.
Continued Troulis, "Inspired by post-impressionist artists Georges Seurat and Vincent Van Gogh; and neo-impressionist artist Paul Signac, I tried my hand at pointillism. Not only did I love painting with dots, but for the first time in my life, I felt like I really belonged to this creative process and it to me."
The Warren Township branch is located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren. For questions, call (908) 458-8450 or email warrentownship@sclibnj.org. To discover all SCLSNJ has to offer, visit SCLSNJ.org or connect with SCLSNJ on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or YouTube.
