Featured artist and Green Brook resident Theresa Carson encourages Library customers to "take time to stop and smell the roses," or, more specifically in this case, to view the roses and perhaps catch a small whiff of artist paint.
Carson's radiant 18-piece, mixed media set was created using acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, colored pencil, and etching, and will be featured throughout the months of February and March 2022 at SCLSNJ's Warren Township branch.
Carson, a member of the Center for Contemporary Arts in Bedminster, finds inspiration for her work by living and through an overall appreciation of the world around her.
The Warren branch is located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren. The branch hosts a rotating art exhibit in order to highlight local artists and makers. For more information, contact staff member Kathy DeCristofaro at kdecristofaro@sclibnj.org.
