The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey to Collect Winter Coats for Children

About Blog Post Sep 26, 2019 by Pressroom
From October 1 - November 1 the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) will be working in partnership with the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women to collect winter coats for children in need.  The donation drive, Project Warm Your Heart, will benefit the children of clients of The Food Bank Network of Somerset County. Donations can be in the form of new or gently used winter clothing items, including winter coats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats for children. “We believe that no child should go cold in the winter,” said Edith Lit, SCLSNJ operations supervisor. “SCLSNJ is excited to continue to support our community by collecting winter coats for less fortunate children in need.”  Donation bins will be at the following SCLSNJ locations:
  • The Bridgewater branch, located at 1 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater.
  • The Hillsborough branch, located at 379 South Branch Road in Hillsborough.
  • The Mary Jacobs branch, located at 64 Washington Street in Rocky Hill.
  • The Manville branch, located at 100 South 10th Avenue in Manville.
  • The North Plainfield branch, located at 6 Rockview Avenue in North Plainfield.
  • The Somerville branch, located at 35 West End Avenue in Somerville.
  • The Warren Twp. branch, located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren Twp.
