Storytelling and hands-on activities combined throughout the month of May at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) Montgomery branch, helping to foster a literacy-rich, creative community.
Young customers created paper lightsabers and designed their own Pokemon cards, while also learning about the stories behind them.
"When literacy and creative pursuits are combined, we are able to create memorable experiences for our families," said Diane Valentine, youth services supervisor.
