Somerville Branch First Floor Reopening Monday, October 6, 2025
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Somerville branch is ready to welcome the community back! The branch’s first floor will officially reopen to the public on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM, resuming its normal operating hours.
After a period of closure for necessary mold remediation, the branch is eager to welcome patrons back to a refreshed space designed to meet the community's needs. The first floor will feature expanded seating options, providing comfortable areas for reading, studying, and working along with plenty of computers, printers and copiers for patrons’ digital and document needs.
"We are delighted to be opening our doors again and welcoming everyone back into the branch," said Jen Sulligan, Somerville Branch Manager. "The Somerville branch is a vital hub for this community, and the reopened first floor is set up to provide key services and resources right away. We appreciate the public's patience and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday."
The Somerville branch’s normal operating hours will be in effect upon reopening: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to visit SCLSNJ.org for more details.
