The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) North Plainfield branch wants to teach you to sew this summer and is offering two different program series you can explore.
The first series is a drop-in multi-generational program series for tweens, teens, and adults. The drop-in sewing series is hosted on the third Friday of every month from 3 to 5 p.m., and on the fourth Saturday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your current sewing projects, ask questions, or simply learn how to sew. Sewing supplies will be provided. No registration is required.
The second series, sewing 101, will be composed of six sessions - each session focusing on a different topic. This program series is also multi-generational and welcomes teens and adults to participate. Attend one session or attend all six. Sewing supplies will be provided. Registration is requested.
