SCLSNJ to Offer Third Pouring of Coffee Time Talks Program Series

Spanning April to June, the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) will offer a program series that promotes lifelong learning while also creating meaningful interactions and connections for adult patrons. The series will consist of historic lectures, live reenactments, and more. “SCLSNJ is looking forward to the third annual edition of our popular series, Coffee Time Talks,” said Marcela Dunham, system program coordinator. “This year we are focusing on history with an emphasis on World War II, travel, art, and the always popular historic reenactors. The Warren Twp. branch will welcome actor Neil Hartley as President Woodrow Wilson. The Manville branch will discover the intricacies of Tiffany lamps with actress Leanna Renee Hieber who will be portraying Clara Driscoll, a designer of those beautiful artifacts and the manager of the Women’s Glass Cutting Tiffany Studios in the late 1800s.” All programs run from 11 a.m. - noon. Attendees are encouraged to stay through 1 p.m. to converse with fellow patrons and enjoy some light refreshments.
