SCLSNJ Librarian to be Featured Speaker at the Somerset County Historical Society

Mary​ ​C.​ ​Nelson,​ ​SCLSNJ​ ​librarian​ ​and  historian,​ ​will​ ​be​ ​the​ ​featured​ ​speaker​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Somerset​ ​County​ ​Historical​ ​Society​ ​on​ ​November​ ​19​ ​from​ ​2-3  p.m.​ ​Nelson​ ​will​ ​discuss​ ​the​ ​new​ ​book​ ​set​ ​“Old​ ​Presbyterian​ ​Graveyard,​ ​Bound​ ​Brook​ ​New​ ​Jersey:​ ​A  Resource,”​ ​which​ ​was​ ​created​ ​by​ ​Nelson​ ​in​ ​partnership​ ​with​ ​Hannah​ ​M.​ ​Kerwin​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Library​ ​System.  The​ ​Library​ ​will​ ​host​ ​a​ ​launch​ ​party​ ​for​ ​the​ ​resource​ ​on​ ​November​ ​28​ ​from​ ​6-8:30​ ​p.m.,​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Bound  Brook​ ​branch.​​ ​​Nelson​ ​is​ ​pictured​ ​with​ ​the​ ​Library​ ​Commission​ ​Chair​ ​Chris​ ​Corsini,​ ​researching​ ​and  collecting​ ​letters​ ​exchanged​ ​between​ ​Corsini’s​ ​family​ ​during​ ​World​ ​War​ ​I. The​ ​Somerset​ ​County​ ​Library​ ​System​ ​of​ ​New​ ​Jersey​ ​(SCLSNJ)​ ​Librarian​ ​and​ ​Historian,  Mary​ ​C.​ ​Nelson,​ ​will​ ​be​ ​the​ ​featured​ ​speaker​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Somerset​ ​County​ ​Historical  Society,​ ​located​ ​at​ ​9​ ​Van​ ​Veghten​ ​Drive​ ​in​ ​Bridgewater,​ ​on​ ​November​ ​19​ ​from​ ​2-3​ ​p.m. Nelson​ ​will​ ​be​ ​discussing​ ​the​ ​new​ ​book​ ​set​ ​“The​ ​Old​ ​Presbyterian​ ​Graveyard,​ ​Bound  Brook​ ​New​ ​Jersey:​ ​A​ ​Resource.”​ ​The​ ​centuries-old​ ​graveyard​ ​is​ ​located​ ​adjacent​ ​to  SCLSNJ’s​ ​Bound​ ​Brook​ ​Memorial​ ​Library​ ​branch.
