Explore Your Community Library

About Blog Post Jun 26, 2024 by SCLSNJ
This June, the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) Montgomery branch welcomed over 250 second graders from Orchard Hill Elementary School as they explored the Library as part of their Social Studies unit, 'Our Community.' Youth Services Librarian Natalie Ehnis provided a tour of the collections and students got a peek at the Library's Sort-o-Matic in action. Youth Services Librarian Hannah Williams led storytime, reading "You're Going To Love This Book" by John Jory and "The Book with No Pictures" by B.J. Novak. https://sclsnj.org/wp-content/uploads/IMG_0277.jpg
Library staff encourage all to join SCLSNJ's Summer Reading Challenge. Take the Challenge now through August 17, 2024. Every day that you reach your personal reading goal, record it and earn rewards. The Montgomery branch will continue to explore literacy throughout the summer.
The Montgomery branch is located at 100 Community Drive in Skillman. For more information about the branch, call (908) 458-8430 or email montgomery@sclibnj.org. To discover all SCLSNJ has to offer, visit SCLSNJ.org or connect with SCLSNJ on FacebookInstagramX (formerly Twitter), or YouTube.
