(Somerset County, NJ: January 12, 2017) Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey will be hosting three Storytime programs, appropriate for children grades K-3, at Somerset County Library System of New Jersey this winter. Children will hear a story, participate in an activity, and learn about Girl Scouts. “Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey is excited to share powerful stories of others today, and to help your children share theirs tomorrow,” said Mara Tolas, community engagement specialist for Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey. “Girl Scouts enables girls to grow their own stories and become a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™.” Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey will present “Betsy Ross” by Alexandra Wallner on February 17, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at SCLSNJ’s Somerville Library branch, located at 35 West End Avenue in Somerville. During this program, participants will explore how courage and confidence build strong character.
