For Kids and Their Grown-Ups: Muslim Heritage Month Created by Laura Frantz, collection development librarian Gov. Phil Murphy signed a joint resolution that recognizes January as “Muslim Heritage Month” in New Jersey. According to the state, “this designation aims to promote awareness and appreciation of the many contributions of the state’s Muslim community.” Explore the Library’s Muslim Heritage Month book river for stories that highlight the rich history and experiences of Muslim children and teens.
