Explore Warren Twp. Artist Sien Lewis’s Color Story at SCLSNJ

About Blog Post Jun 14, 2018 by Pressroom
Explore Warren Twp. artist Sien Lewis’s color story at the Art Space at Warren in the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Warren Twp. Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Blvd in Warren Twp., until July 31. The 15-piece collection of acrylic paints on canvas displays art with an emphasis on color. The collection illustrates Lewis’s interpretation of images that inspire her including nature, food, life-in-motion, and more. The focal point of the exhibit, a painting called “The Nest,” appeared on the cover of the February 2017 issue of “The Connections Magazine.” The glass-enclosed display case also houses examples of Lewis’s jewelry line. These small works of art, hand cast in sterling silver, include pendants, earrings, and bracelets. The exhibition will be available to the public during normal Library hours. Artists interested in exhibiting in the Art Space at Warren located in SCLSNJ’s Warren Twp. Library branch, should contact Kathy DeCristofaro at kdecrist@sclibnj.org.
