Throughout the months of February and March, explore New Jersey and more through the art of Somerville resident Les Floyd in the Art Space at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Warren Twp. Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren Twp.
The 14-piece collection consists of original acrylic paintings in the style of traditional realism with an impressionistic influence. Subjects include portraits, nature scenes, and depictions of local places and events such as the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning.
Presently, Floyd works in his art studio in Somerville where he continues to compose imaginative pieces of art and serves as a tutor to many young, local artists.
This current Library display will be available to the public during regular hours of operation through March 31. Anyone needing more information or artists interested in exhibiting in the Art Space at SCLSNJ’s Warren Twp. Library branch should contact staff member, Kathy DeCristofaro at kdecristofaro@sclibnj.org.
