Throughout the month of April, explore the works of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) East Area Circulation Supervisor Kathy Amberg at the Art Space at Warren in SCLSNJ’s Warren Twp. Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Blvd. in Warren Twp.
Amberg, who has worked at SCLSNJ for a combined 20-plus years, selected 40 photographs for her first solo exhibit.
"It's strange working at the circulation desk and watching patrons and co-workers take the time to look at the collection,” said Amberg. “Comments have all been very positive and I'm getting over my first-time jitters of the Library hosting the first solo exhibit of my work. I want to thank my colleague, Kathy DeCristofaro, for encouraging me to create this display and for her assistance in bringing it all together."
The collection depicts a wide-range of subjects including wildlife, waterfalls, seascapes, and landscapes, as well as images of iconic historic landmarks both local and abroad.
This current library display will be available to the public during regular hours of operation through the end of April. Anyone needing more information or artists interested in exhibiting in the Art Space at Warren Twp Library should contact staff member, Kathy DeCristofaro at kdecrist@sclibnj.org.
