Community Connects During Chase's Chairs Dedication Ceremony at SCLSNJ's Bridgewater Branch

On August 5, approximately 50 community members attended a dedication ceremony for Chase’s Chairs at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Bridgewater branch. The rocking chairs were donated to the Library System by Megan and Justin Monson, of Neshanic Station, in honor of their infant son, who passed away on May 8, 2020. During the ceremony, commemorative speeches were delivered by the Monsons; Brian Auger, county library administrator; Michael Kirsh, Bridgewater Township councilman; and Melonie Marano, Somerset County commissioner. The memorial chairs will be placed in the children’s departments at all 10 SCLSNJ branches. For more information about Chase’s Chairs, contact Auger: bauger@sclibnj.org.
