Throughout the month of May 2024, the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) Bridgewater branch will be hosting two art exhibits featuring the work of local artists.
Jennifer Troulis' exhibit entitled, “Modern Pointillism,” is influenced by her love for bold, lively colors, especially blues and turquoise. Troulis gathers inspiration and memories from her family and everyday life.
Anamika Sinha’s artwork is a vibrant exploration of the intersection between contemporary portraiture and the timeless allure of mandala art. Through her artwork, Sinha strives to create a space where the viewer can explore the rich tapestry of human existence.
If you would like to learn to create your own mandala art, explore a few librarian-curated recommendations. If you would like to explore other forms of art, email ask@sclibnj.org for a custom-curated reading and reference list.
