More About Brian
Brian Auger, MA, MLS; has been Library Director for the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey since 2010. Prior to coming to SCLSNJ, he was in library system administration in three Maryland county libraries. He knows that there are two kinds of library users, those coming for the first time and those who come back because the library has the best staff and the best stuff. He is dedicated to ensuring both in Somerset County. Auger has degrees in theology from Loyola University of Maryland and the Catholic University of America as well as a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Maryland. He is addicted to podcasts, nonfiction and space operas, and grows far too many orchids for one person.
