Program Helper: Read to a Therapy Dog

Volunteering

Provide support for Read to a Therapy Dog, a program for kids in grades K-6.You may either: 1) Greet children and check them in. -or- 2) Guide children through their 15 minute reading session.

Montgomery branch

Volunteer Qualities: Outgoing personality and good communicator & listener. Experience working with children and their families. Requires comfortability around dogs. Ability to maintain a time schedule to ensure the program runs smoothly.
