Many colleagues felt there was a lot of information to consider during the virtual presentation, so now is your chance to hear it again in person and speak with the County representative.

Learn about different types of wills, trusts, and planning for you and your family.  
 

Tina Jalloh, who serves as the County Surrogate, is an attorney and will talk about end-of-life planning.  She will focus on the importance of health and financial planning, the impact on surviving family members when appropriate documents are not in place, and provide us with simple steps that we can take to prepare for the future. 

Who should attend: Any staff member who did not find the elixir of eternal youth.

Estate planning is essential for employees at all stages of their careers, as it ensures that your wishes are respected and loved ones are taken care of in the event of your passing. Creating a will is an important step in securing peace of mind, ensuring that your assets are distributed according to your wishes. It also allows you to designate guardians for children, name trusted individuals to make decisions on your behalf if you are unable to, and protect your family from unnecessary legal complications during an emotional time.
