This program will cover a variety of topics including the anatomy of a butterfly, swallowtails, the life cycle of a monarch, migration, garden tips, raising butterflies plus a whole lot more. 

Cathy Cooney has a BS in Earth Science from Glassboro State College/Rowan University.  Since she was a child, she has been interested in butterflies and moths. She has been raising, studying and tagging them for the last four years.  She is a member of the New Jersey Butterfly club and the North American Butterfly Association. Cathy is a proud member of the Wagner Farm Arboretum and helped certify the Wagner Farm Arboretum Children's Garden as a Monarch Waystation and as a butterfly viewing location with the North American Butterfly Association.
