The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Warren Township branch will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 14 through Saturday, June 17, 2023 for the Warren Township Lions Club Expo Carnival. All other SCLSNJ locations will be open standard operating hours. “The annual Warren Township Lions Club Expo Carnival is one of the community's largest and most highly anticipated events,” said Lynn Mazur, branch manager. “Each year, thousands of people attend for the rides, games, food, vendors, and, of course, the fireworks on Saturday night. The library's early closure at 5 p.m. on the days of the Expo will ensure the organizers have the time and space necessary to set up the event, as well as better parking for attendees.” Continued Mazur, “Library staff will host a table at the Expo on Wednesday, June 14, 6-8 p.m., so please be sure to stop by to register for this year's Summer Reading Challenge (for ages birth to 18 years old) and learn about all the exciting programs and services available at your Library. Customers who register for the Summer Reading Challenge at the Expo will have the chance to win a book bundle!” The Warren Township branch is located at 42 Mountain Boulevard in Warren.
