The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) has partnered with the Library Speakers Consortium, a national organization that partners with over 200 libraries across 37 states, to zoom exceptional author interviews directly into Somerset County residents’ homes.
"SCLSNJ is proud to join libraries nationwide in our partnership with the Library Speakers Consortium," said Darryl Voorhees, manager of adult services programming and collaborations. "While our physical branch locations remain a vital part of providing core services, virtual programming has liberated us in some ways from the constraints of location. This has also allowed us to collaborate and pool resources with other libraries and service providers. The Library Speakers Consortium is a premium enhancement to our ongoing author talks that will further serve our active adult reading communities."
