To stay informed and connected, staff attend our monthly virtual all staff meeting. We also offer departmental training, cross-branch collaboration for program development and system maintenance, and leadership development workshops led by senior management. 

In addition, SCLSNJ supports professional engagement by providing complimentary memberships to industry organizations like  ALA, NJLA, NJALA, and LibraryLinkNJ. Travel reimbursement is also available for staff representing SCLSNJ at conferences, meetings, and trade shows.

Part-Time Employee Perks

  • Work 50 out of the 52 weeks per year in a flexible schedule ( i.e., days, evenings, and a weekend rotation.)
