What to know when doing business with us
- The County of Somerset procures human resources, payroll, and financial management services for SCLSNJ.
- Our data circuits are provided via a contract negotiated by the New Jersey State Library. This includes broadband and VOIP connectivity for all of our branch locations.
- Facility maintenance and support are procured by the municipality in which each of our branches are located. This includes janitorial, access control, and utility services.

SCLSNJ follows all public procurement rules and regulations for public entities in the State of New Jersey and the County of Somerset.
- Vendors must have a valid New Jersey Business Registration Certificate.
- Any spending that will total more than the "Pay-to-Play" threshold ($17,500) for a given vendor must be initiated via a fair and open process, typically a request for proposals (RFP) or a bid notice.
- SCLSNJ can make use of New Jersey state contracts. In addition, we are members of the following purchasing co-ops:
