White Peak by Ronan Frost
Ryerson McKenna is given a second chance by billionaire Greg Rask. In return Rask would like Ryerson’s help to acquire a painting. After meeting the rest of the highly skilled team Ryerson doesn’t know how he’ll be able to help since all he does is climb. Yet he climbs anything and everything and as the adventure continues his skills are very much in demand.
This is an adventure tale that will appeal to fans of the heisty adventure stories with the mystical and occult thrown in: think Rollins, Berry, McDermott and Cussler. Except Frost turns the typical good vs. bad trope on its ear; there is a LOT more at stake here than just the end of the world. The way the book ends you are positive there will be at least one sequel, I’m pretty sure a trilogy, but it could spiral into more.
