Mary Jacobs Branch Updates

All of the System’s digital resources will remain available 24/7 even when the Library is temporarily closed. You can also visit our other SCLSNJ locations to browse and borrow physical materials.

We highly encourage you to return materials at the Montgomery branch for a faster check-in process. The Montgomery branch is located at 100 Community Drive in Skillman, NJ.

Items can be returned at the Mary Jacobs branch book drop while it is closed for renovation. Just be aware that materials will be transported once a week to the Montgomery branch before they are checked in, so don’t worry if a week passes before your items are removed from your account.  

Holds can be picked up at the Montgomery branch while the Mary Jacobs branch remains closed for renovations. Holds pickup will resume at the Mary Jacobs branch once it reopens. The Montgomery branch is located at 100 Community Drive in Skillman, NJ.

Services available will include, but are not limited to: holds pickup, WiFi, computer access, printing, a browsing collection, and children’s and family programming.

Important Dates

  • Mary Jacobs branch temporarily closed for renovations beginning Monday, May 23, 2022.
  • Montgomery branch opened for regular hours on Friday, June 17, 2022. The Montgomery branch is located at 100 Community Drive in Skillman, NJ.
  • Mary Jacobs branch reopening in Spring 2023.
