“The Two-Date Rule” by Tawna Fenske
Review by Jennifer McClear, library technician at the Peapack-Gladstone branch
Would you consider getting together with mutual friends for happy hour, a date? Or is it only when you are alone at a restaurant with your potential boyfriend/girlfriend? How about if you went to play mini-golf or went on a hike? Does meeting their pets instead of their parents constitute a huge step in the dating process?
I haven’t been in the dating scene for quite some time so maybe the “rules” have changed. Or maybe it really has more to do with each individual’s preferences. How many dates do you go on before you call it quits?
Do you even have any rules about dating? If not, Willa can definitely give you some starting points. Careful though because she’s not only goal-oriented, but she’s also a planner of the future –a no nonsense type of gal.
Enter Grady: A smokejumper who is devilishly handsome and spontaneous to boot. Will these two butt heads on the dating scene or will their attempts at making things work go up in smoke?
