The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Manville branch has some big news to share – big news, about an amazing new circulation desk.

“We’re thrilled to announce a big change at the Manville branch – our brand new circulation desk!,” said Nanette Peterson, branch manager. “After 45 years of service, the original desk from 1978 has been replaced, bringing a fresh look and improved functionality to the library. This upgrade was made possible by a Community Development Block Grant, specifically earmarked for COVID-related improvements, helping us adapt to modern needs.”

The new circulation desk not only enhances the look of the branch space but also improves workflow. Because of the new desk, staff can more easily assist customers.

Continued Peterson, “We are deeply grateful for the support of the Borough of Manville, and we can’t wait for you to experience the positive impact of this upgrade. Stop by and check it – and a few books or CDs or DVDs – out!”

The Manville branch is located at 100 South 10th Avenue in Manville. For more information, email [email protected] or call (908) 458-8425. To discover all SCLSNJ has to offer, visit SCLSNJ.org or connect with SCLSNJ on FacebookInstagramX (formerly Twitter), or YouTube.
