Jules loses her job, her boyfriend and her apartment in a single day. In desperate need of money and a place to stay that isn’t her best friend’s couch, she answers an ad on Craigslist for an apartment sitter. The job and the apartment are a dream. The apartment is on the top floor of the legendary Bartholomew, one of the most exclusive addresses in Manhattan. There are only a few rules: don’t disturb (read: talk to unless spoken to) the rich and famous residents; no visitors and spend every single night in the apartment. That’s it. Simple. And it pays $1,000 a week for twelve weeks. Needless to say Jules can’t believe her luck. But could this gig be too good to be true?
A major nod to The Exorcist and Sager does an excellent job making you focus where he wants you to yet the clues to what is REALLY going on at the Bartholomew are there if you are able to see them. For those that want a thriller with a bit of a horror-edge.
