Harry Potter: A History of Magic is the official companion book to the British Library Exhibit that was held at the New York Historical Society last year. It’s an ideal read for Harry Potter fans who will discover a treasure trove of information about the boy wizard. The book includes early drafts and the extensive plotting of this world by author J.K. Rowling. The companion guide also features original artwork by Rowling and how she envisioned characters and settings. The book highlights the many artifacts from throughout the world that tie in to the wizarding world. It gives readers an overview of the history behind the Care of Magical Creatures; Potions and Alchemy; and Herbology to name a few. Full of wonder and delight.
