“Girls’ Night Out” by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke
Review by Jennifer McClear, Library Technician at Peapack-Gladstone branch
It is always suggested that when out with your girlfriends stay together because there is safety in numbers, don’t leave with a stranger, and never leave your drink unattended.
Unfortunately for Ashley, Lauren and Natalie some of these rules are forgotten on their trip to Mexico. What starts out as an attempt to salvage some rough patches in their 20-year friendship turns into a tense set of events. Add in a local male “tour guide,” and tensions rise even more.
Will the trio be able to make amends with each other? Or is the tension between them so thick they can’t even cut it with a knife?
Will this be the trip of a lifetime or will this trip be one to change their lives forever?
