The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) provides significant economic relief to help low and moderate-income households at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability by providing support for rental or utility arrears, and temporary rental assistance.
- Somerset County received an allocation of $7,766,773.20
- Rental assistance for residents facing rental debt, potential eviction, or loss of housing security
- Program provides up to 12 months in arrears and 6 months for current and future rents for residents that meet all eligibility criteria
