Coffee Time Talks Coming to Local Libraries This Spring

Five SCLSNJ library branches will host program series featuring local authors and experts

(Somerset County, NJ: March 8, 2017)  Somerset County Library System of New Jersey will launch a new Coffee Time Talks educational program series for adults this April.

The premise of our new Coffee Time Talks series is to provide talks on three main topics: technology, health and wellness, and humanities,” said Marcela Dunham, system programming coordinator at SCLSNJ. “We have excellent speakers, including local authors and experts in their fields, who will present one-hour talks on a variety of topics in these categories: from JFK to preventing falls, from safely searching the internet to hearing loss. The programs include time for questions, socializing, and more. Our libraries are sources of lifelong learning for our community; they’re places to connect, share, explore, and discover. We created this series to offer more opportunities to do just that.”

All programs are held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, however, participants are welcome to bring lunch. Registration is required.
