Check Out Virtual Author Talks

Created by Yvonne Selander, collection development librarian

Being a librarian I’m sure you can guess what my favorite subject was in school. Got a guess? You’re right! MATH! I love math. Numbers are the best. Put numbers, letters and cool Greek symbols in a scientific equation and I’m such a happy camper. That’s why I’m so excited that Randall Munroe will be joining us virtually on Tuesday, January 31 at 2pm to talk about his amazing math and science question and answers books “What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions”  and “What If? 2: Additional Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions.”

Not interested in questions answered by lots of math and stick figure drawings? Can’t say I understand why you wouldn’t be, but it’s okay because there are lots of authors presenting virtually each month. You can see the entire line up here.
