Gather around the (pretend but still beautiful) campfire, enjoy a story or two, and savor some delicious s’mores at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Manville branch camping storytime.

“Children can experience ‘summer slide’ where they lose some of their learning from the school year,” said Youth Services Librarian Emily Baldassano. “At the Library, we try to provide opportunities – like our camping storytime – where children can continue engaging with early literacy practices throughout the summer months while still focusing on fun.”

The storytime event will be hosted in branch on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. A camping-themed craft will also be available while supplies last.  Registration is required:
