As Long As We Both Shall Live by JoAnn Chaney
Matt comes running down the Colorado mountain trail panting and out of breath looking for help. He was hiking with his wife Marie, she was standing near the edge of a cliff to see the view and he thinks she fell into the raging river below. His back was turned for only a second or two but when her turned around she was gone. At first detectives think it must have been a horrible accident but parts of the story aren’t adding up. Then they discover that Matt’s first wife died under suspicious circumstances.
This is a great psychological thriller with a couple of twists I frankly didn’t see coming. I am so happy when that happens! I really can’t say much more because it would ruin the experience. All I can say is that your opinion of the main characters will change many times before the shocking conclusion.
