Bound Brook Memorial Library 2018 Summer Teen Volunteer Program

If you are interested in volunteering to be a program assistant or shelving assistant this summer, please bring your completed volunteer application and have two completed references (either in paper or online) and register for an orientation date. Additional volunteer opportunities for students entering grades 6-12 are available on the branch’s calendar.

Bridgewater Library 2018 Teen Volunteer Program

We are now accepting applications for Bridgewater Library’s 2018 Teen Fall Volunteer Program. We will only accept applications Monday through Saturday. We are unable to accept applications on Sundays due to abbreviated services

We need volunteers in the fall to assist during programs, help with behind the scenes tasks, and more. School Year volunteer opportunities are for teens in 7th to 12th grade in the 2018-2019 school year. Two references are required for all new teen volunteers. Please use paper reference forms instead of electronic reference forms due to the large size of our program.

2018-2019 School Year Teen Volunteer Sessions

Fall Session: Monday, September 10 – Saturday, January 26 Applications will be available on Monday, July 23 and are due by 5 PM on Friday, August 24.

Spring Session: Monday, January 28 – Saturday, June 8 Applications will be available on Monday, December 3 and are due 5 PM on Friday, January 11.

Summer 2019 Teen Volunteer Program

Applications for BWL’s Summer 2019 Teen Volunteer Program will be available beginning Monday, April 1 and are due by 9 PM on Tuesday, April 30.

2018-2019 School Year Volunteer Opportunities

We are now accepting applications for the Hillsborough Library branch’s 2018-2019 Teen School Year Volunteer Program. School Year volunteer opportunities are for teens in 7th to 12th grade in the 2018-2019 school year.

Download an application and return to the Youth Services desk in the Children’s Room of the Hillsborough Library branch. Two references are required for all new teen volunteers. For additional questions about volunteering, please email Christine Jansen at hil.teens.scls@gmail.com.

Mary Jacobs Library needs reliable teen volunteers in Grades 7-12 to provide assistance during our programs. Duties include: set-up, hands-on interaction during the program, and clean-up of the room. Teen volunteers must be attentive, enthusiastic and able to assist the library staff as needed. Volunteers must have great social skills and previous experience with children. Community service hours will be awarded for participation.
